This Privacy Policy describes the processing of personal data by Lintu Investments Oy ("Company", "we", "our", "us") in connection with the provision of our services, including analytics tools and the personality/risk tolerance test.

We act as the data controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679, GDPR) and the Finnish Data Protection Act (Tietosuojalaki 1050/2018).

We do not intentionally process special categories of personal data (Article 9 GDPR), nor do we provide services to minors under 18 years of age.
Certain processing activities, such as the risk tolerance test, involve profiling. This profiling is used solely for educational and informational purposes and does not produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
We use cookies and related technologies to ensure the technical functioning of our website, analyze usage, and — subject to your consent — for marketing purposes. See our for full details.
Personal data may be disclosed to service providers and subcontractors (hosting providers, analytics services, payment processors) acting as data processors on our behalf. We never sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such transfers occur only to jurisdictions with an adequacy decision by the European Commission, or under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
After expiry of retention periods, data will be securely deleted or anonymised. Anonymised data may be retained indefinitely for statistical analysis and service development.
Exercise your rights via Settings, or by contacting info@lintu.finance. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto) in Finland. We will respond within one calendar month (GDPR Art. 12). Complex requests may be extended by up to two further months with notice.
We implement Fernet AES-128 encryption for sensitive personal data, PBKDF2-SHA256 password hashing, access controls, secure servers, and regular security audits. We apply privacy by design and by default.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the access to and use of services provided by Lintu Investments Oy, Business ID 3359228-4, Meri-Rastilan Tie 6 A 8, 00980 Helsinki ("Company"). By accessing our platform or services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. These Terms are governed by Finnish law and applicable European Union law.
Informational Purpose Only. The Service provides data analysis, statistical models, and interpretation of financial and economic data. All content is for general informational, educational, and research purposes only. The Service does not constitute investment, financial, legal, or tax advice.
No Financial Services Licence. Lintu Investments Oy is not authorised by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanssivalvonta) or any EU regulator to provide investment services. No content should be construed as an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy, sell, or hold securities or other financial instruments.
User Responsibility. You remain solely responsible for your financial and investment decisions. Before making financial decisions, you should seek advice from a licensed professional. Past performance, forecasts, or simulations are not indicative of future results.
You agree not to copy, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or resell the Service; violate financial market regulations; introduce malware; scrape or extract data automatically; or engage in fraudulent or unlawful conduct.
All content, software, trademarks, and materials on the Service are owned by Lintu Investments Oy or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by Finnish and EU law, Lintu Investments Oy is not liable for: financial losses arising from reliance on Service content; loss of profits, revenue, or data; interruptions, outages, or inaccuracies; or actions of third-party service providers. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the preceding 12 months.
These Terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes shall be resolved by the Helsinki District Court (Helsingin käräjäoikeus) as the court of first instance, without prejudice to your mandatory consumer rights under Finnish and EU law.

This End-User Licence Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and Lintu Investments Oy (Business ID: 3359228-4) governing your use of the Lintu platform and associated software ("Software").
Lintu Investments Oy grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Software for personal, non-commercial informational purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You may not: (a) copy, modify, or distribute the Software; (b) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software; (c) sublicense, sell, or transfer the Software or your rights therein; (d) use the Software for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations; (e) remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels.
All intellectual property rights in the Software and its content remain the property of Lintu Investments Oy or its licensors. Nothing in this EULA transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
This licence is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any term. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete any copies.
The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Lintu Investments Oy does not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

This Solution and Service Agreement ("Agreement") governs the provision of analytics and data services by Lintu Investments Oy to clients ("Client"). It supplements the general Terms and Conditions and applies specifically to paid service tiers and enterprise arrangements.
Lintu Investments Oy provides: portfolio analytics and modelling tools; macro-economic data dashboards; risk tolerance profiling; scenario analysis and backtesting; and quarterly market reports. All services are informational only — not investment advice.
We target platform availability of 99% uptime on a monthly basis, excluding scheduled maintenance. Maintenance windows will be communicated in advance where possible. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or real-time data accuracy.
Where we process personal data on behalf of enterprise clients, we act as a data processor. A separate Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available upon request and required for enterprise arrangements under GDPR Article 28.
Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable Finnish consumer protection law. We reserve the right to modify fees with 30 days' advance notice.
Both parties agree to keep confidential all non-public information received in connection with this Agreement and not to disclose it to third parties without prior written consent.
Our aggregate liability under this Agreement shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
